In April 2001 at the United Nations in New York City, Chernobyl Children's Project commemorated the 15th anniversary
of the Chernobyl disaster with the photo exhibition "Black Wind/White Land." These photos by Paul Fusco, which show
the effects of the Chernobyl disaster on on the people living region, inspired filmmaker Maryann DeLeo to follow CCP
